After spending thousands of hard earned dollars on products that wouldn’t last, I started to force myself to read up on the products I was buying in more detail. I would not longer support these companies that manufactured their goods with planned obsolescence built into their business strategy.

Some people say I’m a bit rough with my stuff, but to me things need to be used and not kept on the shelf or closet looking beautiful. Not only did I waste tones of money, but it was incredibly frustrating to not be able to depend on my stuff. My time is precious, and I want my stuff to operate in the world just as I do – with grit!
